I just turned 23, and am female
Morning: Wash with noxema, then neutrogena oil free moisturizer with spf 30
Night: Noxema wash, then prescription Retin-A gel, and Burt’s Bees eye cream
Is this appropriate for someone my age? I have that in between skin. I dont have wrinkles yet and would like to prevent them. I also still get breakouts on occasion.
Yup it looks nice too me as long your skin looks good not irritated or dry.
I’ve noticed that most skin care products are used to treat only acne, or only aging/wrinkles. Are there any products that combine both? I tend to have greasy skin, but it dries out VERY easily with certain products. It’s very dry during winter months, but greasier during summer. I also have VERY large pores.
I was looking at "Natural Advantage" skin care line, but don’t know if it’ll be an effective acne treatment? I want HEALTHY, YOUNG looking skin as well as CLEAR skin. Any suggestions?

I am only 33, and I consider my skin to be in great condition. I am also a beauty product junkie. I discovered a skin care line that I absolutely love for my skin and want to share it! It is age targeted, for wrinkles and such. But the cool thing is that is makes my young skin look even younger. Is it rude to give this to my beautiful mom-in-law and grandmom-in-law for Christmas?
No I would not think it would be insulting. I would make like a gift basket and put in other little things to make it a great gift. You are just sharing what you found to work there is nothing wrong with that. I got the same kind of stuff for my mother in-law for her birthday and she loved it. good luck to you.:)

starting to get fine lines and wrinkles and skin seems dull. Looking for a line not too pricey. I don’t want to have to go through a consultant to purchase either.
The Body Shop’s wise woman collection is affordable, all natural, and works wonderfully. It’s more expensive than their other lines, but cheaper than other brands. You can buy at a body shop store, bodyshop.com, and amazon.com. Even if you don’t get the full set (or even the 3 step cleanser, toner, moisturizer), get the night cream and eye cream.

exfoliate daily with either alpha-hydroxy cream, or a facial scrub. I have been using a cream called Pentaxyl which is supposed to treat fine lines and wrinkles. But I am skeptical of anything that is not FDA-approved. Too many snake oil salesmen.
I heard of some prescription cream called Renova or Retin-A. What is the difference between these two? Is there anything else that i should know about how to take care of my skin?
You should not exfoliate everyday, but only once a week, you are exposing your skin to too much abrasion and it can make it more dry. And you should not use a mechanical exfoliant (scrub) and a chemical one (like your cream) together, use one or the other. Your daily skin care regimen should include: cleanse, tone, moisturize & protect in the daytime (sunscreen) and at night use a nighttime cream that can help with wrinkles, etc. Retin-A and Renova are somewhat different, but not that much, you would have to ask a dermatologist if you even need to use it.
